Even before joining the Saudi Post, Express Mail Service (EMS) was known for its international standards in the postal service of documents and merchandise. Its operators are up to the Universal Postal Union (UPU) standards. The EMS operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a joint venture of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies (the Saudi Post Corporation). This enables and powers the post offices with a global network.
Today EMS has become the most important sector in the Saudi Post. Its main feature would have to be its skilled premium and integrated services performed by a highly trained team composed of Saudi youth. In addition, EMS is one of the largest postal network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (with over 500 points of sale), has the best distribution policy (a fleet of 300 vehicles able to deliver your packages all over the kingdom), and finally a state-of-art technology which provides you with the highest level of accuracy and security during your mail transportation.
Any parcels and postal consignments are enveloped in special package which cannot be opened unless by tearing them off. Hence, any tampering with the package will be apparent from the state of it upon its arrival. Furthermore, the security and confidentiality of our postal deliveries are guaranteed by legal regulations, international agreements and the internal Postal charter. In the end, it is no wonder that with all these guarantees, EMS won over the confidence of its current and recurring clients.
About UPU: UPU is an intergovernmental organization and the primary forum for cooperation between governments, posts and other stakeholders of the worldwide postal sector. It works to maintain the universal network, establish the rules for international mail exchanges among its 191 members and improve the quality of service for customers.
